LPA Announces University of Kansas Walking Tour: National Register East Historic District

Join former LPA board member and campus history expert Dale Slusser for a walking tour of the National Register East Historic District on the KU campus. This stretch runs from Smith Hall down Lillac Lane to the Chancellor's Residence, and Dale will walk through the evolution of residential, religious, and student-life buildings on the strip, with structures dating from 1912 to 1963. He'll also touch on some broader campus development history that ties into the Jayhawk Blvd Tour.
